Music Video

Editing

This picture shows me editing a mid shot for our music video. Here I am matching up the singing to the song lyrics, and trying to create a choppy effect by using lots of difference shots.

Digipak

I have decided to use this image from our music video as the front screen for my digipak. I have chose this as the background is natural representing our characters hippy side, as well as her clothing and playing the acoustic guitar.

This Vlog shows us discusiing and deciding on a name for our band. We have decided on Daisy and the chains and it is a play on words from daisy chains which everyone has heard of.
As well as this daisies reflect the nature/hippy side of our singer as they are a flower and chains reflect metal, technologies etc so the name helps express the message our music video is sending which is anti technology.

America

I've just got back from my Holiday in America and have been doing some productive media research whilst away.
Whilst in America I visited Universal studios where I went on many Movie tours.
As well as this I went to the cinema to see Les Miserables which I loved. It was so moving and powerful and I think the fact the actors sung live in takes made the movie so much more powerful and showed more emotion. This is what we have done in our music video to make it seem as if our singer is singing live and to express more emotion to our audience.
